This is a boilerplate article that units (Packs, Troops, Teams, Crews, Ships, and Posts) can use to populate a similar article about their organization. All one needs to do is copy and paste the source code. Use the "Edit" link at the top of this page, then copy the entire text from the editing window. Only administrators are allowed to edit this particular article.

History

If you are interested in how to manipulate the different parts of the page, refer to the Unit Page Template Discussion page. Information about the various elements will be added there and managed after any major changes. However, when you are converting this article to the use of your own unit, I suggest that you replace this text with your own, including the headings.

Weekly Meetings

These headings are simply for demonstrative purposes; however, they do approximate usual information that units try to share with their audiences. The infobox at the right also helps to concentrate important details about your leaders, where you meet, and primary contacts. To learn more about the options available, make sure to look over the {{Infobox pack}}, {{Infobox troop}}, and {{Infobox crew}} templates.

Activity Schedule

The Infobox on the right side is not the only way to interact with this page. The navigation bar at the bottom also gives links to relatively standard options for units. Individuals interested in developing a page for their unit should be in possession of a few external accounts, such as a calendar, free photo and video hosting, and a Facebook Fan Page for the unit. All these services can be found for free on the internet through companies like Yahoo, Google, and Microsoft, and the integration of their products will be shown on boilerplate pages that correspond to the links in the navigation bar.

Code of Conduct

Remember: this entire page can be copied and pasted into an article of your choosing, such as your account space (there is a link at the top right of the page, next to "My talk"). From there, you can adjust it to your liking and continue to improve it. More importantly, this overt dissemination of information allows new families and district personnel to be apprised of your unit's focus without subscribing to an email list. Boy Scouts and Venturers can utilize this space for development of their own computing and information technology skills.
