Hello All Melita Lovers,
It’s Time! We are beginning some of the final planning stages for the Melita Invitational and need to get some idea of how many are coming.
We need to do this for food and patches.
My mailbox hasn’t been overwhelmed with registrations so it is time to let me know if your unit is coming.
As you know Webelos scouts are welcome to attend this event with a parent.
This is an ideal event for 1st and 2nd year Webelos as they get a taste of Melita and can pass requirements towards scout, etc.
This is also a great event for recently crossed over scouts as they can pass a lot of requirements.
We use older scouts for staff so this makes the Invitational fun for them too.
I have also included the info on the Boating Safety Seminar known as BHASES. This is open to scouts 13 years and older.
OK that’s the pitch now the Invitational Committee needs to see the response.
We can really use staff, transport boat drivers, first aiders and someone to head up the kitchen/food service so if there is any folks out there who are interested please contact me.
YISS
In the Melita spirit
